North O’ahu Focused and Centered

The North O‘ahu area, from Kaena Point on the West to Kualoa Ranch on the East, has been listed with agencies such as The Office of Hawaiian Affairs as an “underserved area”.  The current population of this region of approximately 75,000 people has higher unemployment and a lower standard of living than the other areas on the island. One of the reasons for this is the lack of employment opportunities in the area and the lack of services to assist in correcting the situation.  We are focusing on providing the necessary services to change this situation.

Home and Community Centered

Our mission and goals have home and community centered in the middle because it is in this core area where permanent change happens . We specifically focus on programs that foster positive child and youth development, community tolerance, reciprocity & participation, safe neighborhood space, economic prosperity, and physical & mental health.
